Berry Patch Farm
Last Saturday was the best fall outdoor Saturday! We spent the afternoon at Berry Patch Farm!
This is where allllll of my friends in college went on cute fall dates with their boyfriends. Soooooo my boyfriend took me and it was perfect.
These guys greeted us on the shop/cafe porch :)
You stop at this shed and pick up bags and maps. Everything is divided into states from which each fruit come from.
Okay, quick greenhouse on the way to the orchards :)
We walked waaaaayyyy back in there and found rows and rows and rows of Honeycrisp apples. We fought the bees for a good long hour and found some good ones.
It was hot and perfect.
There were no raspberries in sight! They have been completely plucked. But we found these little translucent looking ones. Zach's callus is the third raspberry :)
We paid our dues and picked up some seriouslyyyyyyy goood apple cider for the road home!
And then I made an apple crisp with these!!
Listen. Fall IS really great.
But this in between summer and fall that is hot and full of outdoor festivities is the best.
