The Best Fall Saturday
Life is busy. Schedules are busy. Work is busy. Zach and I haven't spent a ton of weekends together this fall. But we did last weekend!!!
And it was awesome.
We saw Goosebumps with some friends on Friday.
AND THEN!
We got up, made a chemex, and headed to fish. I haven't had a ton of time this year to get out. Also, the thought of chasing trout, rather than bluegill and bass, is way more intriguing.
And we both caught a trout! We fished for hours, and sadly only caught two-but it was still a blast.
It was a super relaxing way to spend the morning. And Zach and I got to do it together.-which is the best.
Afterward, we stopped at a tiny tiny tenderloin shop on the way home. We grabbed groceries and cooked a fantastic dinner for Spaid and Delaney!
We promised them trout! So we baked them with tomatoes, thyme, and garlic. We also added an acorn squash, apple, onions, and Grazianno sausage.
The night ended with cribbage and good chats about marriage. These two get married in 2 days!!!
Staying cozy on Pleasant!
