When I was studying apparel merchandising, my friends would tell me after class how talented Dallas Daws was and how she was by far the best sewer in all the classes and how great all of her stuff looked for a sophomore. I was first and foremost intrigued about this girl because her name is DALLAS DAWS. You can't write books with a better lead role than that.

But, soon to find out, she WAS the best. She still is. Dallas moved to Minneapolis recently and works at Madewell (ugh, that discount is what every girl wants). But she is working her butt off inside her aparment with boyfriend and newfound kitten by her side on her own line-Dallas Daws Designs.

Dallas asked me awhile back if i would model some of her clothes, and I said, UH YES!!

Here are a couple of shots from the day. It was a hot day, but adventurous as ever. We went out to Howell's Farm just south of Des Moines, and there was a loft. full. of. dried. flowers. TOO COOL. Who even knew that was out there?! Not I.
