The Top Moments of January
January is great. It somehow felt like a whirlwind? Is January ever supposed to feel like that? Anyhow, going through my iPhone photos, I found quite a few great weekends and events with great people from this month! A little photo throw up if you will...
Technically in December, we spent NYE at our friends' beautiull studio space! She has always know how to host a party well, and this space backgrounded by snow and cold was perfectly cozy and exciting.
We got to go home and spend an afternoon with my family! We celebrated my moms birthday and got to visit and catch up with my grandparents, aunt and uncle, and my sisters!
I threw a little brunch party for Beautycounter. I LOVE having really great women over on a cold Saturday morning! Zach did a chemex bar for us :) the best treat.
We had some amazing unseasonably warm weekend days! And so, we walked! Our favorite.
And I finally got to pop in the new shop in the East Village! Check out Preservation ASAP!
Delaney and I were mall rats on the sad, cold days. PS - YAY Des Moines finally got an Anthro!!
But, let's be honest, I spend most of my time in my office, at my desk. So! I like to swap out prints and pictures to keep things fresh and as exciting (as far as a cube goes).
Zach got featured on Every Day Carry. He's seriously been arranging his pocket dump and adding and updating since I've known him. He loves the everyday man essentials. So this post was a big deal :)
My friends and I stopped at Ethan Allen to design our dream room and hang out with our good friend, Paige!
As you know, Zach and I went to Kansas City to celebrate my little ole golden birthday!
I have LOVED getting so many beautiful cards and letters with Christmas and my birthday in one month. I seriously love just notes and cards that say "hey". Let's never ever stop mailing things, okay?!
My good friend, Holly is getting married next weekend! Holly was my first friend in college. She is wise and quirky and loves Jesus with her whole heart. She lived a life far differently spun than my own at the time. She taught me the love of Jesus and loved me in all of my silliness that year. She loves all things vintage, so her party was a little 50's tea party.
And there it went! January is over! Hey February! The month of Val Day, so many birthdays (including Zach's), a wedding, and a weekend trip! It's going to be a good one.
